Greetings Adventurers! It's finally time to reveal what we have been working so hard to achieve, and to begin this exciting transition to a better Treasure Wars! Firstly I want to announce a huge welcome to our new Administrator and Developer @codenameflip! Cameron will be joining this adventure to help us create even more amazing content on a more consistent basis, so be sure to say hello if you see him around! Santa + Cupid Class (This Weekend Only) We have heard your calls, and we were listening! After the dozens upon dozens of requests, we have decided to re-introduce the Santa and Cupid Classes and Pets back to the store for this weekend only! Considering the server was rather quiet over the last Christmas and Valentines day, we thought it was only fair to give users the chance to get their hands on these amazing packages now that we're back in business with brand new resets and all! These classes and pets will be available on the store until TUESDAY, accompanied by a generious 35% Store Sale! Check it out at: BUY.TREASUREWARS.NET Cursed Warzone Update (Stage 1) Time for the main course! After weeks of planning, we're finally ready to begin stage one of Project Warzone! Every weekend from now (With the possible exception of one in the middle), we plan on selecting a random realm and completely re-working the warzone + race spawns, along with some other amazing additions! These new Warzones are very special, and hold some truly incredible features about them. Not only were they specifically crafted to provide an amazing PVP and adventure experience, they also have some very specific changes that are going to make a huge difference. To clarify for anyone wondering, once each realm receives its new Warzone, the OLD Warzones will become inaccessible until we decide what we plan to do with them (Hint hint, Event!). Firstly, these new Warzones are in their complete own worlds, separated from everything else! This was done for many reasons, some of which you won't see for some time to come. Having each warzone in its own world means that we were able to optimize the PVP experience for the player by giving more resources to these specific worlds. We were also able to drastically increase the view distance, so now you'll be able to see the whole warzone at once, and spot players on the other side of the map! We have also decided to freeze the time in this world, so it's always day time, providing the best possible experience at all times! Along side these changes, you will also notice an animated border around the whole warzone. This lets you know exactly where the edges are, and will also prompt to teleport you to the wild when you stand against it for a few seconds! Awesome, right? Another awesome feature that you will notice is that we have implemented interactive Warzone areas, so you know exactly where you are at all times! When walking between different parts of these new warzones, you will receive a message above your hotbar, telling you which town or area you have entered, which will make learning your way around a breeze, and will also mean you can call your allies to your location at a glance! Combat Tag Updates Whilst the main focus this week was the new Cursed Warzone, we also have something for everyone else! We spent some time this week making some improvements to our current combat tag system, and we hope you like them! Now when entering combat, you'll notice an interactive timer just above your hot-bar, where you can see exactly how long you have left until you're out of combat. Along with this we've gone ahead and fixed any bugs where users could perform tasks such as clearing their inventory while in combat, so no more pesky thieves are trashing your loot! Happy fighting! Weekly Development Log A list of patches and bug fixes made throughout the week, so everyone is up to date! Spoiler: Development Log Fixed users being able to attack ally and truce members in the Warzone. Fixed Creeper Eggs not functioning correctly in the Nether world. Fixed the ability to Auction items for $0. Fixed permission issues when teleporting into Factions. Fixed Pistons not pushing water correctly. Fixed duplicate playernames showing in Baltop. Well then, that was a lot to digest! We really hope you all love this update as much as we do, and we hope you're even more excited to see more Warzones in the coming weeks! Thanks for tuning in once again, and we'll see you online!
