Greetings Adventurers! We're basically half way through Summer at this point, and it's been amazing so far, right? This week marks the third installment of our new Warzones, along with a whole lot of other changes to the core mechanics of the server - we're sure you'll love it! Take a read and enjoy. Forgotten Warzone Update (Stage 3) Welcome back to the third week of our huge Warzone Update, and this week Forgotten Woods is the lucky receiver! Enjoy the incredible castles and vast mountains as you navigate your way through these majestic woods, there's plenty to see, and a whole lot more coming soon! For anyone who isn't aware of exactly what comes with these new Warzones, be sure to check the stage one post from two weeks ago, or read below for a simplified collection of all the best updates! Warzone is now in its own world, meaning the most optimal PVP experience, and the opportunity for us to easily expand and update the maps constantly. Brand new race spawns with new themes, and 360 degree jumping angles! Increased view distance in the warzone, meaning you'll now be able to see everything at all times, and spot your enemies from a far. Frozen world time, meaning constant day time and the best experience all-day-round! Animated world border so you can always see the edge. Interactive wild teleportation when approaching the warzone border. Interactive warzone areas and regions so you know where you are at all times. Redstone and Cannoning Mechanics We heard you all loud and clear - and we've finally got something to show for it! Over the past week plus, we have been working hard to do as much testing as possible behind the scenes with Redstone, Cannons and Hoppers! With this update, we have deployed many new changes and tweaks to all of our back-end systems that will now make all of these mechanics function a whole lot better! A very large majority of Cannons will now work on Treasure Wars, along with many other Redstone contraptions and more. As well as this, Hopper timings have been ever so slightly tweaked to ensure a much faster flow of items, so there's no more clogs in your farming systems. We hope you enjoy! Warzone Chest Balancing This week we've also decided to spend some time working on the Warzone Washup system, as we've had many reports that users are having trouble finding chests and gaining loot. After the next reboots, Warzone Chests will now be completely random, and the locations will constantly swap out every single time a new washup comes! We have set over 300 locations for each Warzone, and roughly 100 will be selected every single time, so you best start getting to know all the locations, as they might not be the same every day! To clarify, this system is only for the NEW Warzones, so Reforged won't see this until next weekend. As well as the above, we have decided to release Slot Crystals into the Warzones! Almost every single day since we arrived here on Treasure Wars, people have been suggesting for us to allow users to obtain Slot Crystals in other ways that just the online store. So if this was something you suggested, today is your day! Slotties will now have a very rare chance of showing up in Washups, making the new Warzones even more valuable and packed full of fun! Start looking now before someone else gets there first! Small Changes & Updates As per usual, there are always some small things that are worth noting, so below is a list of small changes, additions and updates that may spark your interest this week: Iron Golem Stacking: Iron Golems now stack in groups of 10 - this means that your golem farms will work much more efficiently now, producing better rates with a more optimized experience. Rune Percent Balancing: Rune percentage rates have had some tweaking over the past week, making it slightly easier to have a successful rune session! Overworld/Nether Borders: Visual World borders have been placed in all words now. This will prevent any potential glitching outside the border, as well as other bugs. F Home: The /f home command enemy radius has been changed from 32 blocks to 15. Race Chats: We have implemented a Chat for all races to speak collectively, to do so simply use /f c r (message). (Will be activated on next reboots) Bucket Stacking: Buckets now stack in groups of 64, rather than the current limit of 16. Weekly Development Log A list of patches and bug fixes made throughout the week, so everyone is up to date! Spoiler: Development Log Fixed all major crash bugs that were affecting the server. Fixed Enderpearls not being accessible in the new Warzones. Fixed issues causing high value money notes to work incorrectly. Thanks again for reading, and we hope you enjoyed as per usual!
