Part 1 of this thread will house my previous rune list and some additional information on PvP related topics that I get asked about on a regular basis in game. The sole reason for moving my rune list and adding in other components is so that you will not have to travel between threads to find this information. List suggestions in the comments for other topics you may want me to include.

Part 1 - This thread will go into depth on the topics:

- Set Building
- PvP styles and preferences
- A complete updated rune list (Custom enchants)

Use the spoilers below to navigate through the different topics:

There is a lot of debate and opinion about certain enchants in PvP that are good or bad. For example "Jump 2 is better" or "No jump 2 or 3 is preference". I will be breaking down the difference regarding enchants like this. I will go through enchants as well as things you do want to use and do not want to use in PvP.

Preferences / Suggestions

- Jump: Picking your level of jump 2 or 3. This has been one of the biggest arguments overtime. In truth jump 2 and 3 are completely preference. Now for the facts, jump 2 gives you more critical hits yes although this does not matter in treasurewars PvP as you are always crouching for execute procs. Jump 2 does not slow you down when sprint jumping making it slightly faster. On the other hand jump 3 means you can scale mountains quicker on escapes, jump over bigger gaps and generally move around the terrain with more ease. This suits certain realms well such as pirate and molten, no doubt others too they are just the ones I have played on. The only downside to jump 3 is you do not run as quick when sprint jumping (Barely any difference). My suggestion put them both on and run around, see which one you like better.

- Platemail: Platemail 2 and 3 are both the same, if you have access to a cow pet or have icy veins 3 or above (These will both remove the slowness that platemail comes with).

- Fat & Golden Apples: When you eat a golden apple you receive 2mins of absorption even after your 2 absorption heats disappear. This absorption prevents other automatic absorption effects / procs to work, like fat. While the 2mins occurs your fat will not proc. This is why some people think fat never procs or fat has been heavily nerfed. It hasn't you just need to know how to use it correctly. However the 2mins of absorption does not prevent manual absorption from working e.g. eating another golden apple or activating an Iron Golem Pet. My suggestion do not eat golden apples, instead use regen pots. The absorption from fat is a much better buff than golden apples.

- Purge & Resistance: Using the enchant purge is one of the best hidden PvP tactics in treasurewars. When purge procs it will have the chance to dispel either their static; resistance, absorption or jump. Purge is also able to remove brewable potions when procing. Purge will not remove healthboost or speed static effects.

- Axes or Swords: This topic is the largest talking point and question that people ask. I will be going through the pros and cons of both. I will be basing these figures off, diamond swords and axes enchanted with sharpness 5. Axes go up to a maximum of 16.25 damage per hit without accounting for procs of damage multipliers (Enchants that produce damage multipliers are common between axes and swords). This damage is made up of the 12.25 vanilla and the bonus 4 damage when reaching level 200 on axes within the MCMMO plugin. This is 3 damage beyond the maximum sword damage of 13.25. These damages are decreased to 9.75 for axes and 7.95 for swords, by the static effect of resistance 2 through platemail 2 / 3. There are unique enchants for both axes and swords such as, petrify and lifesteal respectively. When partaking in 'maxed set' PvP lifesteal does not serve you very well as you will most likely die when you are low on HP. The main difference between them is the damage and purge. Read the point above to see why purge is important. Now drawing from the effects if you were to remove their permanent resistance 2 through a purge proc after hitting them with a sword, the damage that a diamond sword does will increase to 13.25 damage. This is larger than damage axes can do whilst they have static resistance 2 being 9.75. So you might ask Hitbox, are you saying swords are better? My answer is if you were to be rolling with 1 weapon yes. However the most effective way to do the most damage is by using both an axe and sword at the same time. Using a sword to remove their resistance and then switching to an axe to deal the damage. Now you might ask, how do you know when their resistance is gone? If they start trying to retreat / run away when they are on high HP after a lightning bolt has struck them from a sword then this could be an indication that their resistance has been removed or, if you seem to be inflicting more damage generally (This means constant hits doing more damage, this can be easily confused with a damage multiplier proc).
This part of the thread will list the best possible maxed set you can make on treasurewars. I will list 2 maxed sets here being, the best possible one currently and the best set that has room for future enchants. Meaning you leave space on each piece in case good enchants come out and or certain piece enchants e.g. Chestplate only. When making sets you want to order the enchants from most important on the chestplate to least on the helmet due to their durability. When in PvP your helmet is the piece that will break first, if you do not mid fight /fix it. Having an enchant like healthboost on your helmet would be a big issue as you would lose your healthboost if your helmet broke, which would make it difficult to survive after that. Surviving without a helmet if you do not have important enchants on it is quite easy. Another note Dodge and Life Essence are confirmed to stack that is why they are on every piece!

Information on some enchants

- Bat Vision makes blindness worsen in PvP
- Shadowstep is quite glitchy and extremely unadvised, although this one comes down to preference
- Annihilate Is optional, not very effective in warzone, but great in warp nether PvP (Due to the knockback)
- Kiillstreak is unable to be applied to a bow, therefore for the best maxed bow you must start with cupid bow

End of maxed set thread

Applying Runes

Taking this information along with GIFS and images from the retired staff member's outdated thread on custom enchants @Bladehell

Runes Success & Failure Rates:
Runes have a varying chance of success and failure which is shown in the Rune's lore. The higher the Success rate the better the chance of applying that Rune to your gear. The higher the Destroy Rate the higher chance of failure and possible destruction of that item.

Protection Runes:
You can apply a Protection Rune to an item to protect it from a failed enchant protecting it from being destroyed should the application fail. Protection Runes can be found in the Server Store under Consumables and will remain affixed ONLY until a failed enchant attempt. They can also be found in war chests & clue scrolls. This protection, once applied cannot be transferred.

How to Apply Runes:
1. Open your inventory
2. Check to make sure the item you wish to enchant has an available slot
3. Select the Rune you wish to apply to the item
4. Hover your Rune over the item
5. Click the Rune

Part 2 of this thread will go through other topics that may be helpful, mainly non-PvP related topics, as part 1 is based on PvP aspects of the game. Thanks to @Khafagi for providing me with the Clue Scrolls information!

Part 2 - This part will go into depth on the topics:

- Making Money
- Clue Scrolls

Use the spoilers below to navigate through the different topics:

Money making is topic asked to me a lot, mainly from less experienced players. There are 3 main aspects of making money which come along the line after each other as you slowly increase your wealth. This guide will only apply to economies that are already developed slightly, not a server just reset. If you would like to see how to get started on new / reset server leave a comment down below.

Aspects of making money

- Warzone:
An easy way to start making money is by going into the warzone and sitting back far (assuming you do not have good gear) and shooting bosses. Getting enough hits on the boss then selling the mythic loot crates. This is an extremely easy way to make money! When you start to get better gear, diving in for the rift tokens at the conclusion of rifts is another way to make money. I suggest you redeem the rift tokens for a mythic key and sell that. I tend to find the actual mythic key goes for more than rift tokens. This should boost your wealth up quite high.

- Ah Sniping:
Another way to make money is by sniping on the Ah. People often list things for incorrect prices or type 1 digit less. Spamming your drop key (default q) on the refresh button is the fastest way to refresh the list. If you are able to pick something up for cheap, then wait for peak times when there is high demand for certain items before selling. This does require a very good perception on the market and whether prices will go up or down. You should acquire this knowledge of the market over time, I can not list prices here because they are always changing. Runes are generally where you make the most money on Ah sniping. New players will list good runes on the Ah for cheap prices because they do not know their functions or worth.

- Grinding / Afk:
The final and most effective way of making money is through grinding and or afking. These are the most consistent ways to make money guaranteeing you results. These methods will come further down the track once you have at least 4 blaze spawners or 1+ iron golem spawners (Use the methods above to get to this point). Grinding blazes is only worth doing if you have a decent grinding sword with at least: Any killstreak level, plunder 3, exp drain 3 and looting 3. Maxing out the enchants is most effective, obviously... Selling the blaze rods and selling exp or redeeming the heroics on alts and selling them is the way to go when grinding blazes. Now for the most effective and widely used form of making money the Iron Golem spawners (Igs). Having a good setup for Igs is key, having your Igs located in the centre point of 4 chunks is most effective. Then creating a small afk pool that crosses between the 4 chunks. This will mean the Igs can spawn in 4 different chunks (You can use /f map to see the different chunks). The most common mistake that people make is having a full floor of hoppers covered in lava for them to drop into. This is the most expensive and inefficient way to use Igs. You want to use ice and water to move the Igs into a separate chunk to kill them. This will allow the spawn rate of Igs to stay fluent. There is one downside to using Igs assuming you will afk overnight or while at school / work, is that you will need a good base. If you do not have a good base and even if you do for extra protection, I strongly recommend water protecting your Igs (including the corners). If you do not water protect the corners people can get a creeper egg right in the corner to explode the spawners and it will completely defeat the purpose of water protecting in the first place. If you water protect them correctly the only way to get the Igs is by lining up a cannon with them and sand stacking them (This is extremely rare for people to attempt as it is a very low chance of dropping the spawners and the chances are the Igs won't all be in the same line as the cannoneer is shooting on. There is no other way to bypass cornered water protection without hacking.

Hope this helped anyone who was interested!

Part 4 will be revolved around cannoning and base defences most of this information has come from one of the servers best cannoneers if not the best cannoneer @Bandage Big shoutout to him for essential compiling part 4 of this thread!

Part 4 - This part will go into depth on the topics:
- Cannoning Physics
- Cannon Parts
- Different Types of Cannons
- Base Defences
- Do's, Dont's & Tips

Use the spoilers below to navigate through the different topics:

We'll start with basic cannoning knowledge and components. Essentially, in the current time period, no base is left unwatered, unless you are ignorant or forgetful. So cannons that shoot only tnt are irrelevant now.

Propulsion:
This is what makes the tnt shoot. The more propulsion you have, the more accurate your shot is. Typically, one block of tnt(one dispenser) will propel sand or tnt 3.5 blocks out of the barrel. So if you need to find out how much propulsion you need to raid, calculate how many blocks you are cannoning by using the button F3, then divide that by 3.5 and round up to the nearest whole number. Usually you will not need more than 138 dispensers in propulsion, as that is sufficient for shooting 30 chunks away, which is 480 blocks.

Sand Compressor:
This is possibly the part of a cannon where you will see the most diversity. There are many ways to put together a sand compressor, the main factors being:
1. How much sand the cannon is set up to stack
2. How fast you want to shoot
3. If you want to place cobwebs after every shot or not

5 - 20 sand:
For this it is best to use a single piston pushing a cobweb containing sand into the barrel. You can make the sand fall by placing another cobweb in front of a piston that is activated by a quick pulse directly after the propulsion ticks off. The timings for the piston that pushes the sand into the barrel should be exactly 10 full repeaters off the propulsion.

20 - 100 sand:
Make a one sided 6 wide compressor that shoots directly into the cannon. You can use the piston - quick pulse method to make the sand fall or a comparator method to keep Pistons retracted for some time before extending again. The timing on the tnt compressor shooting the sand into the should be 2 ticks before the propulsion ticks off, and the Pistons pushing the sand should be on 10 full repeaters from the tnt compressor. You can use a reuse- cob method which will be explained in detail below.

100 - 255 sand:
There are many options available for this larger compressors. There are 4 main types and 2 less common types of these.

2x6:
This is the standard size that has been in use since late 2014. It consists of 12 Pistons in the ground and a row of Pistons 4 blocks above that retract to allow sand fall. These are not applicable to a 240+ unless the barrel is very high as this sand compressor is roughly 30 blocks high.

4x6:
This is the preferred compressor for larger cannons that have platforms at y:235 and above. It can either use 24 Pistons in the floor of the platform with red stone beneath it to power it, or the 2x6 in the ground with 2 additional rows that are placed on the platform facing the Pistons in the ground.

2x6 reuse:
A reuse able sand compressor is where you use a pulser to make a piston extend 4 times to push the sand off the cobweb, or a double Piston extender to push it off in 1 pulse. These are necessary to cannon quickly unless you have alts printing webs and sand. These cannot use Pistons in the ground as it would break the cobwebs in any situation. You would make a 2x6 platform 1 block above the cannon platform, place webs on it, and have a sticky piston pushing normal Pistons which push the sand into a 1 wide barrel.

2x12 reuse:
These are very similar to the 2x6 reuse, only that it is doubled in length and requires another TNT booster. These are applicable to 240+.

1x12 reuse:
This is usually used for 100-150 stackers. You can pre stack sand to sky limit and make the cannon semi auto, but other than that it isn't very useful.

4x12:
This is a new type of compressor that is solely used for order of entity stacking. It allows for all the sand to fall in 3 ticks. Other than fusion stacking, this has no uses.
Auto Cannon Compression:
Auto cannons are allowed on treasure wars, but Pistons are only able to push 6 blocks, so downloading a schem of Beingsad's or BigL's auto cannon will result in only half the sand stacking. For treasure wars, you need 2 12x6 sand compressors.

Hammer:
This part of the cannon typically uses the most tnt, and is what makes the sand stack. You will need 1.152 tnt for each sand you want to stack. The hammer is pushed into the cannon under a guider 1 block higher than the sand.

Booster:
This component of the cannon uses TNT to push the sand, propulsion, and hammer into close proximity inside the barrel. There are several types depending on how long the hammer/propulsion is. As of right now, the newest boosters are able to compress 15 long hammers.

Slabbust:
This is pushed into the barrel 1 block below the hammer so it gets shot down where people usually place slabs in the wall. You can utilise the tunneling effect to slabbust and stack sand in the same shot. You can also nuke walls using slabbust.

Hybrid TNT:
If you are one shoting, you will need a separate set of dispensers a couple of ticks after the hammer that gets compressed into the same block as the hammer. This allows for a hole to be blown into the wall in the same shot as stacking. There are various methods of wiring this, the most recent version resulting in ~50 block tall holes in walls.

Hybrid Sand:
You need this in conjunction with hybrid TNT to one shot. Hybrid sand is simply a piece of sand that is pushed into the same block as the hammer in the barrel, so it is not hammered down. This is fairly easy to wire.
Cannon list and breakdown:
- One Shot
- Tunneler
- Reverse bypass
- Reverse slabbust
- Leftshooter
- Reverse stacker
- Regen buster
- Fusion cannon
- One Shot Nuke
- Auto Cannon
- Floating Barrels
- Floating Barrel Regen Bust

One Shot:
As the name implies, this cannon takes one shot to get through 1 normal wall. It uses 3 main methods to perform this. First, you must utilize the tunneling effect in the slabbust, which essentially means the slabbust explodes less than a tick after hammer, so sand can be stacked in the same tick as the slabbust. Second, the cannon must stack sand up to the barrel height, which any standard cannon does. Third, you need to add a hybrid sand piston in the same block where the hammer TNT gets pushed into the barrel. This sand will not get shot down, but instead stack on top of the sand that got hammered down. You will also need a set of dispensers that get compressed into the same piston as the hammer that is no less than 4 ticks from the hammer igniting. With these simple additions, any cannon will one shot.

Tunneler:
This cannon uses the tunneling effect on a mass scale, along with a simple one stacking mechanism. It has a massive propulsion and a massive hammer, both roughly 15x20. The 2 hammers should have the exact same wiring, except the last 4 ticks for the propulsion should be a full repeater, and for the tunnel hammer it should be on 4 1 tick repeaters. The red stone current powering the tunnel hammer has to go through 3 more repeaters than the propulsion, which means it explodes an instant later, but in the same tick. This allows cannons to tunnel 320 blocks in one shot. The barrel of this cannon is 2 high with slabs on top, so it is more like one and a half tall on the inside. In some cases you would need a single stacker mechanism to stack in front of their walls to expose a dry spot. This is used mainly for breaching at bedrock level.

Reverse Bypass:
As the name suggests, this cannon allows you to bypass walls at higher Y levels by cannoning at bedrock and reverse tunneling up their walls, using a sand stack as a backboard. This takes 2 shots, which can be wired as 2 separate cannons or a single cannon with many components where the propulsion ticks off twice. The first shot will always stack sand and one shot, but it does not one shot until after the hammer from the second shot explodes on the stack, which creates a backboard under the dry spot of the wall. The second shot consists of a reverse nuker, which is essentially a Tunneler, but has 3 hammers. One as propulsion, another as the initial hammer, and the last actually nukes up. The last 2 are set up using the tunnel effect, with the nuking hammer going through more repeaters to achieve the tunnel effect.

Reverse Slabbust:
This uses 3 hammers as the reverse bypasser does, but they are overwhelmingly smaller. This cannon does not nuke walls to sky limit, but it is used for breaching under a base that lacks water layers under it. The tnt that the hammer shoots up is 8-12 ticks off of the initial hammer. The upwards hammer consists of 22 dispensers on 4 ticks.

Leftshooter:
This cannon utilizes tnt's unique size and properties. TNT actually does not consist of a full block, but it rather a margin smaller. This is why you can use pistons to push tnt to either side of the barrel. A left shooter contains every normal part of a one shot, in addition to a barrel attachment on the opposite side of the hammer. This barrel attachment contains 18-25 dispensers that tick off 5 ticks after the propulsion, and are pushed into the barrel under the same guider as the hammer, but from the opposite side. Since TNT does not take up a full block, the leftshooter TNT is pushed against the right wall while the hammer is pushed against the left wall, along with the sand and slabbust. When the left shooter tnt explodes on the wall, the hammer, slabbust, and sand are slightly left of the initial leftshooter hammer. This allows for the regular one shot components to be shot left. Hammer timings are usually 10 ticks off propulsion.

Regen Buster:
Regen busting has been around since late 2015, but only became publicized recently due to Minechat and F1NN5TER's video. It is fairly easy to regen bust, any normal 230 stacker can be modified to do it. However, a normal 230 can only utilize the first method of regen busting, the second method requires a specific sandplate. The first method is the one publicized by Minechat and created by Lachie. The first thing we must go over is the barrel changes, which allows for the cannon to regen bust. The slabbust must be closest to the slab that the propulsion rests against. The sand compression opening follows, then the hammer. It is best if the hammer guider is 6 blocks taller than the cannon floor to allow for necessary changes. Before regen busting, you must prestack on the wall, which means just firing sand, no one shot. First, mine the guider so for the entire cannon it is flat. Then, place a block and a slab for the slabbust guider. Note: You must add another one shot sand piston with the slabbust. You can just add a sand for every regen bust shot you perform. Then, the guider for the sand must be a trapdoor. The hammer retains its 6 block tall flat guider. Ok, now to explain how this method regen busts. The slabbust and hammer utilize the tunneling effect to bust slabs and stack sand in the same tick. In this instance, the slabbust hybrids on top of the prestack in the same tick that the hammer/sand stack on the block above it, but since the slabbust has to go through more repeaters to achive the tunnel effect, the wall is hybrided before the hammer stacks sand. The hole in the wall however is not tall enough, and the hammer and the sand under the trapdoor guider clip on the hole, but since the sand is slightly under the hammer, it still stacks, which makes water flow into the regen wall, turning the lava into obsidian. The second method utilizes order of entities, but is still technically the same process, minus the trapdoors. The slabbust still uses a slab guider, but can be in between the sand and hammer as long as there is a 1 block between the slab and the top of the guider, allowing the sand and hammer to be on the same guider. The sand compression, however, must be wired so that at least 24 sand falls in between the propulsion ticking off and the hammer ticking off, so that the hammer can stack the sand even though it is on a flat guider. That is why the second method requires a 2x12 sandplate, or a 4x6.

- Fusion Cannon:
Fusion cannons require the use of order of entities if you are looking to stack more than 10 sand. The sandplate for this cannon is a bit awkward. It must consist of 'layers' that allow for 10 layers of sand to fall in 2 ticks, which a normal compressor could never accomplish. This is obtained by using a glowstone ladder to power multiple layers of retracting pistons to allow for substantial amounts of sand to fall in between the time the propulsion and hammer tick off. Note: you can not slabbust and stack in the same shot, you must set the slabbust on different ticks from the hammer. Otherwise, the cannon is identical to a one shot cannon, and can one shot slab/trapdoor filters.

One Shot Nuke:
As the name suggests, this cannon will nuke a wall in one shot. There are 2 methods to doing this, with one being overwhelming more efficient. Method one requires a hammer similar to that of a 255, an initial hammer for stacking sand, 2 more hammers for the tunnel, and hybrid ticks that make at least 15 block holes. The sand, initial hammer, slabbust, and one shot are shot under the 255 barrel, roughly 20-25 blocks higher than the cannon platform. This is a normal one shot. The other 2 hammers go under a barrel that is only 5-7 blocks above the platform, so that it does not interfere with the initial hammer. The tunnel hammer is on the same ticks as the one shot so the wall is nuked/one shot in the same tick. The second method utilizes order of entities, which allows for each piece of the cannon to operate without interference. The order for the parts are propulsion -> initial hammer and slabbust -> all sand falls -> hammer and slabbust ticks off for second time to nuke.
Do's and Don't's list for cannon making / usage:
- Using others cannons in a raid is frowned upon.
- It is encouraged to develop your own cannons.
- Never use red stone torches to power dispensers. It is old and outdated.
- Do not make multiple Pistons pushing into the barrel for 60+ sand, this is also outdated and messy.
- Refrain from making super tall cannons as it won't fit into the area you want
- Use longer hammers instead of higher
- Don't wire things messily, as it will result in errors

Raiding Hint List:
- Make a cannon box with 5+ walls and a watered belly
- Utilize Pistons to open and close the barrel of your cannon
- Make one person stand at every 10 walls you get through so that no one comes and repairs without you knowing.
- Fill all your dispensers before starting a raid
- Don't raid solo unless you know they will not come online
- try to get a lot of sand slaves to make cannoning go quicker

Defending Hint List:

- Try to put lava buckets in their dispensers
- make filters in front of their barrel to slow them down
- try to repair walls or make their cannon clip
- Water all spawners
- Use TNT detector

There's about 5 of these, with 3 of em being updated
There were 2 now 3 including mine, which both of them had errors all through them and one which doubled up on all of the common enchants between axes and swords. I wanted to create a 100% correct and up to date, clean thread that will last for a long time... Considering I am a very active player and a very good set builder, which is why it is in my interest to have one of these updated, correct and clean
